Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits he noticed the longer grass of the Selhurst Park pitch for their win at Crystal Palace.

The surface was noticeably longer than the Gunners are used to at the Emirates Stadium, perhaps a deliberate ploy by Palace to stop Wenger's side.

"I will soon have a pitch with long grass to practise when we play away from home," joked Wenger, when asked if the length of the grass had hindered his side.
