Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger isn't panicking after missing the deadline to sign Valencia winger Juan Mata for a set fee.
The Mirror says Mata, 23, had a fixed-price clause in his contract of around £18million - but that figure increased dramatically after July 31.
However, Wenger is still confident he will be able to agree a fee for the winger which suits the Gunners.
It is believed Mata wants to join Arsenal and dodged questions on his future after playing 45 minutes against Sporting Lisbon at the weekend.
