Arsenal boss Wenger: No complaints with Birmingham's treatment of Eduardo

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists the club was happy with the treatment Eduardo da Silva received from Birmingham City in the aftermath of his broken-leg injury.

He told Arsenal TV Online: "We were completely happy with the support we got from Birmingham. That story is untrue as well. They were outstanding. Those rumours are completely false. All I can really do is deny it vigorously. It is just untrue."

"He is doing as well as he can," said the manager. "I am informed by the medical people that he is alright. The first thing he must do is get over the risk of infection and that is going well. So we have no problems apart from the obvious big disappointment of him being out and not playing."
