Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says his FA Cup record against teams outside the top-flight is proof he respects the competition.
After victory over Huddersfield, Wenger was a relieved man after seeing his record of never having lost an FA Cup tie to a lower league club preserved.
He said: "It shows how seriously we take the competition but, despite that, my commitment to the FA Cup is questioned. In my whole career we did well against teams from lower divisions. At 1-1, that record was under threat. On set-pieces, they looked like they could score.
"They had a few chances on crosses where we could have been punished.
"It was tough, tough, tough. It had all the ingredients of a typical cup game.
"I think we played a bit below par but Huddersfield are a good team.
"In the end we had the quality to make a difference, but we play so many games at the moment that, of course, sometimes we are not as sharp as we want to be."
