Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has held face-to-face talks with Auxerre striker Yaya Sanogo.

Le 10 Sport says Wenger was accompanied by Giles Grimandi during a trip to Paris last week where they met Sanogo and his representative.

Sanogo has only just come back to action after spending a year on the sidelines nursing a groin injury.

His contract expires this summer.
