Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits Javier Hernandez has been "exceptional" in his first season for Manchester United.
Hernandez laid on a second goal for Wayne Rooney in the Champions League Semi-Final first-leg victory against Schalke on Tuesday and Wenger has been impressed by the 22-year-old's impact.
"He has been exceptional," Wenger told arsenal.com. "He [has] had a great season. He is very good [and] he puts Rooney in a different role as the playmaker.
"Rooney can adapt to everything. It suits Manchester United, Hernandez plays more the runner and Rooney more the playmaker."
