Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh still remains a target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

The Morocco international has been linked with both the Gunners and Sunderland in recent weeks but has stated he would love to move to Emirates Stadium.

Wenger said the club were maintaining an interest in the 25-year old.

"We keep an eye on him," Wenger told Arsenal's official website.

"He is one of the players that we will follow and if we went for a striker then he would be one of the possibilities."
