Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger plans to move for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger plans to move for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila.

The Sunday Mirror says he has laid out cash for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, from Southampton, Carl Jenkinson, from Charlton, Gervinho, from Lille, and Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell.

But fans want a more established name.

M’Vila, still only 21, has a proven track record as a holding midfield player at Rennes and has already played 11 times for France.

The asking price for M’Vila – who has two years left in his contract – would be around £10 million.
