Arsene Wenger has learnt his lesson after he refused to criticise the referee for awarding a controversial penalty during Arsenal's 4-2 FA cup third-round loss to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Gunners boss was watching the game from the stands as he served the first of a three match ban for publicly abused referee Mike Dean for awarding a late penalty against West Bromwich Albion.
With the Gunners down 3-2 and still with a chance in the game, Kieran Dowell was awarded a penalty when he appeared to slip and kick the ball with both feet.
But when asked about the incident after the game, Wenger said: "I said what I had to say many times and I will not talk about the referees. I think I talked about that and that is basically what I think. There is nothing to add."
