Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is hoping Vito Mannone can turn in a steady Champions League performance against Schalke.
Mannone gifted Norwich their winner on Saturday on the back of a few mistakes this season.
But first choice Wojciech Szczesny is out for another fortnight and Lukas Fabianski needs an operation. And Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said he won't drop Mannone for Argentine keeper Damian Martinez, who is 20.
"I've spoken to Mannone - we both know mistakes can happen to every big keeper," he said.
"But I am not tempted to play Martinez. The biggest quality of a keeper is experience.
"Putting an even less experienced player in now wouldn't be the right thing."
