Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists Abou Diaby's dismissal against Bolton Wanderers yesterday was nothing like the tackle made by Birmingham's Martin Taylor on striker Eduardo da Silva.
Diaby's tackle drew comparisons with the foul by Birmingham defender Taylor which broke Eduardo's leg last month.
Wenger, who initially wanted Taylor banned for life for that offence, said: "Diaby was a fraction high and he can't complain.
"But there was no comparison with the foul on Eduardo because that tackle was much higher."
