Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says it was inevitable that Eduardo would score in Wednesday night's Champions League clash with Standard Liege.
The Brazilian-born Croatia international was embroiled in controversy after the qualifier against Celtic when he was adjudged to have dived and handed a two-match ban.
But Fifa overturned the ban and Eduardo was free to play in Belgium - and duly netted the winner - after Arsenal came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2.
Eduardo was also caught out as Standard scored in the opening minutes, failing to clear a corner, and Wenger knew that he would have the final say.
"It is always inevitable with Eduardo," said the Arsenal manager.
"He was caught out on the first goal but he is a guy who can always turn up on crosses because he has that anticipation."
