Arsenal boss Wenger: I'm over Monaco sacking

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he no longer thinks about his sacking by AS Monaco. Wenger faces his former club in the Champions League tonight.

Wenger insisted he is over the hurt of being sacked and claimed there were "special circumstances" to his dismissal.

"I always respect my contracts - that's everywhere," he said. "I refused to extend my contract in Monaco but I wanted to do my last year. I have no regrets because that's how I am and that's how I will be as long as I'm alive. I saw it coming. I survived."
