Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists no offers have arrived for contract rebel Alexis Sanchez.

The Chile striker has been linked with Manchester City and PSG leading up to this month's transfer market.

Asked if there's been any approaches for Alexis, Wenger said this morning: “No, we have not been contacted by anyone."

“This club has lost many big players and responded well. But you want to keep your best players."

Wenger was also asked about Mesut Ozil.

“We have not lost them yet and [if we do] we will respond by bringing in players of top quality.

“We have not been contacted by anybody."

Asked if he is scared of losing the pair, Wenger smiled: “No. I want them to stay.

“Why should I be scared?"
