Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has declared he intends to coach in Europe next season.

Since his imminent departure was confirmed, Wenger has offered mixed messages on whether his future might lie at either another club, on the international stage, or in retirement.

But the Frenchman has now revealed that his appetite for the European silverware that has so far eluded him could take him to another club.

"I hope it's not my last European cup game," Wenger said of the Europa League semi-finals. “On the list of guys who have managed in Europe I am quite high up if not the highest.

"My target is to manage in Europe again."
