Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger hopes Abou Diaby is now rid of his injury woes.
As the Gunners prepare to face Chelsea again tomorrow, Wenger hopes Diaby will hold Arsenal together.
The player has suffered a staggering total of 34 injuries since breaking his ankle in May 2006.
But Wenger said: "The way the team is structured, Diaby is an important part of the puzzle because he adds qualities we need in the middle of the park.
"He has power and long strides. He is the closest to Vieira that we have seen for a long time."
