Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara knows Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants to sign him.
The Daily Mail says the midfielder is the son of former Barcelona player Mazinho and the 20-year-old was given his chance towards the end of the campaign but is likely to find his opportunities limited next season.
Reports in Spain suggest Alcantara met Arsenal boss Wenger when Barcelona were in London for the Champions League final.
He has been mentioned as a makeweight in a Barca deal for Cesc Fabregas.
