Wenger is now the longest serving manager in English football with 17 years under his belt at Arsenal.
Asked when he expects to retire, he smiled: “It’s very difficult to give you that answer because I don’t know exactly when I’ll die!
“For me, the best moments are every important game you win and the worst is every defeat, because I experience every defeat like a death.
“Defeat has to hurt you very much to survive in this job because that’s when you learn a lot about yourself.
“Every defeat is terrible for me so I don’t know if I will stay at Arsenal for the rest of my career.
“I have one year on my contract and after that I will see how it goes during the season.
“My heart is with this club and I have been here for a long, long time but I want to do well for Arsenal and that will decide how long I stay.”
