Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was happy to see Danny Welbeck on the scoresheet in defeat at Liverpool.

Welbeck's exemplary finish was the obvious highlight of our trip to Merseyside and, although the England man didn't complete the 90 minutes, he is getting back to his best.

“Yes, I like the fact that he's coming back game after game to his best level and that is very interesting for us," said the boss.

“Danny has worked very hard to come back and I am very happy for him."
