Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is delighted seeing Robin van Persie collect the two biggest personal prizes in the English game.
The Arsenal captain was voted Player of the Year by the PFA and the Football Writers' Association and received his latest prize at a ceremony in London on Thursday night.
"To be voted by your peers as the best player in the league, I think that is the best compliment you can get," said Wenger.
"He has been voted as well by the press. I am sure the choice is right and I wouldn't like to challenge that at all. To get both together for me is absolutely fantastic."
