Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has no problem sharing the captaincy while Cesc Fabregas recovers from his knee injury.
Manuel Almunia, Kolo Toure and Robin van Persie have all led out Arsenal on different occasions this year.
"I am for shared leadership in the team," Wenger told arsenal.com. "I am always a little worried about the idea that when you don't win games people always say it is down to a lack of leadership in the team.
"I believe that usually players grow with experience and they talk more, they know more about the game and they slowly become leaders. That is why I am convinced that there are leaders in this team."
