Arsenal boss Wenger happy to hand Gibbs first season start

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was happy to give Kieran Gibbs a start in their victory over Bolton Wanderers.

It was the England hopeful's first full start of the season.

Wenger told arsenal.com: "It was not in preference because Clichy played very well but we go into two months where we play every three days so I rotate sometimes one or two players. I want Gibbs to get back to full fitness. It was his first full game."
