Arsenal boss Wenger happy for Fabianski over Cup performance

Arsenal goalkeeper Arsene Wenger hailed Lukasz Fabianski's performance in their FA Cup win over Liverpool.

The Polish goalkeeper returned to the side for Arsenal's FA Cup tie and made a vital stop to deny Daniel Sturridge in the third minute before denying Luis Suarez on a number of occasions.

"Let's start with the goalkeeper, who has done well," manager Arsene Wenger told Arsenal Player.

"I'm especially pleased for Fabianski because I have a huge respect for him and his attitude and his quality. I'm so happy that he gets this opportunity to show his quality."
