Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits he's delighted with the improvement of Manu Adebayor in the last 12 months.

Wenger aid: "Adebayor has made one of the biggest improvements in his finishing of any player I have ever seen.

"He wasn't clumsy before, but he wasn't confident in front of goal.

"With maturity, observation of how other players do it, confidence and encouragement, you can improve."

Adebayor has also proved to be more than a target man.

"Sometimes when a guy is good in the air the players see an easy target and they use it," added Wenger. "But Adebayor is very mobile too."
