Arsenal boss Wenger fancies Monaco fullback Fabinho

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is eyeing AS Monaco fullback Fabinho.

The Daily Mail says the Brazilian, on loan from Rio Ave, has impressed in Ligue 1 this season, and his performances have alerted Arsenal's French-based scout Giles Grimandi. Wenger has told his spies to identify a new right-back as doubts persist over Bacary Sagna's long-term future at the club.

The France international has less than a year left to run on his contract and is stalling over signing an extension.
