Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is facing the club's AGM today.
The Mirror says majority shareholder Stan Kroenke, who will be in attendance, has already confirmed the club wants Wenger to stay on as manager beyond his current £7.5million-a-year contract, which expires next summer.
Wenger has been keen to bide his time, but Arsenal have opened talks and shareholders are likely to push the Frenchman further on his intentions, with the club confident he will commit himself.
Shareholders will also ask questions of the Gunners' board, and it is understood one may focus on the club's transfer business this summer.
