Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed Robin van Persie is in line for a return to action on Saturday against Wigan Athletic.
Although midfielder Andrey Arshavin has a "10% chance" of featuring against the Latics, having aggravated a groin problem during the international break, goalkeeper Almunia continues to be troubled by a chest infection.
"Robin van Persie is the most likely to come back [for Saturday]," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.
"But Denilson looks to be out for a few weeks with a back problem."
