Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger doesn't expect Samir Nasri to pen a new contract until the summer.
Arsenal hope to secure Nasri to a long-term deal over the coming months, having begun talks on extending the Frenchman's contract, which expires in the summer of 2012.
There have been reports that Barcelona are planning to lure the player to the Camp Nou but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said he is confident Nasri will commit to Arsenal.
"We have met his agent already but we'll finish the job in the summer," said Wenger.
