Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits it's easier for English clubs to win the Champions League than the Premiership title.

"You can win the Champions League by being less consistent than you need to be to win the Premier League," said Wenger.

"The Champions League is easier to win and easier to lose. In the first stage it is a championship, but after that it really is a cup competition.

"You can turn it on for the day. [If you do that] six or 10 times a year, you can win it."
