Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hinted at a move for Schalke winger Lewis Holtby.

Holtby, 22, has made it clear that he will not be signing a new contract at the Veltins-Arena and will be leaving at the end of the season on a free transfer.

Wenger said: "We have looked at him, yes," but that is as far as he would be drawn on the Germany midfielder.
