Arsenal boss Wenger disappointed with Jenkinson injury setback

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was disappointed to lose Carl Jenkinson to injury during victory at Marseille.

The summer signing from Charlton has been covering at right-back for Bacary Sagna after the latter broke his leg, while Kieran Gibbs is also out with a stomach muscle problem.

Johan Djourou came on out of position at full-back when Jenkinson hobbled off, and Wenger could be short if the news is not good.

"Jenkinson has a knee problem," said Wenger. "He overstretched his knee and we will check that tomorrow."
