Arsenal boss Wenger delivered stunning snub by French football peers

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been delivered a stunning snub by his French peers.

The Daily Mail says this month's issue of France Football magazine publishes the player and manager of the year lists, one of the country's most prestigious footballing awards that have been running since the 1960s. They are the equivalent to the PFA awards in Britain.

Arsenal manager Wenger last won the award in 2008 but this year he does not even make the top 10.

To add insult to injury, the coach of Zambia, Herve Renard, finished higher in sixth. Zambia are 39th in the official FIFA team rankings.
