Arsenal boss Wenger delighted with Arshavin performance
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was delighted with Andrey Arshavin's performance in last night's thrashing of Porto.
Arshavin was outstanding in the 5-0 rout.
Wenger told arsenal.com: "I like Arshavin because he can make a difference in the box. When it is one-against-one in the box, you know he will pass the player. And you need to be special to do that.
"I think the pace we put on gave Porto a problem tonight. And that maybe made a difference. When we play on a quick pitch, which we have here, and we can play our quick passing game, it is difficult for everybody."

Arsenal in its tradition is known to be a club that produces talent and ball jugglers at all time, but recently we're seeing the kind of players we're not expecting in our darling team ARSENAL. Any player that is not capable of delivering the best of football to the FANS satisfaction should not be tolerated, i don't want to mention names because all the players are important to the club but then, the pleyers should also know that all fans are very important to the club and therefore they must show commitment to satisfy the fans.
Well done everybody for trashing Porto especially Arshavin & Nasri & i am wishing Ramsy a quick recovery.
