Arsenal boss Wenger defends stroppy Gallas

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger defended his captain William Gallas after the Frenchman's strop at the end of their 2-2 draw at Birmingham City.

Gallas kicked an advertising hoarding in frustration after the last-gasp penalty had been awarded for a challenge by Gael Clichy on Stuart Parnaby.

He said: "William was frustrated and I can understand it because it was a last-minute penalty."
