Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is coy about playing Thomas Vermaelen today against Chelsea.

Vermaelen is fit and will be included in the Arsenal squad today. He could get a start at the heart of the back-line, with Laurent Koscielny switching to right-back.

Wenger said: "I don't know yet about Thomas. I feel physically he is not completely ready because he had problems to finish the game against Bolton but he is close.

"We play two games in three days now and I will have to evaluate the whole situation. Thomas always wants to play."
