Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has played down his scouting trip to Valencia yesterday.

Wenger saw Barcelona thrash Copa del Rey opponents Levante.

Asked if he was scouting hat-trick hero Cristian Tello, Wenger replied: "No, but I was at Heathrow yesterday, that's true.

"I feel a bit guilty going to a press conference during the transfer market with nobody to announce but I don't want to lie."
