Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger won't consider Manuel Almunia as the club's new captain.
After sacking William Gallas, Almunia captained the team against Manchester City but Wenger must now select a permanent replacement, with Cesc Fabregas and Gael Clichy thought to be the leading candidates.
The Frenchman hinted: "I don't believe too much in leadership.
"I believe more in good passing than a guy who jumps around with his hands in the air and plays the leader."
