Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has refused to offer assurances over Thomas Vermaelen's future.
Ahead of Saturday's FA Cup final with Hull, which incidentally the Belgian international is a doubt to play, Wenger was far from certain over whether he will retain the services of Vermaelen.
"I do not even know if Thomas Vermaelen is fit to be in the squad at the moment," the Arsenal boss said.
"I cannot speak about the transfers today. Normally I would say no because he is under contract. But..."
