Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger can't believe people questioning Roberto Mancini's job at Manchester City.

Wenger has backed the Italian and believes he has performed well since taking over at the Etihad Stadium.

"Yes [it is ridiculous to question his future], because he is under contract," he told arsenal.com.

"He has done a good job. He knows the squad and I'm not responsible for City's politics. They have to deal with their own problems and I deal with mine."
