Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger refused to allow Yaya Sanogo to leave yesterday.
Leeds United boss Garry Monk was keen to take the 23-year-old forward to Elland Road on a season-long loan.
Sanogo has spent time on loan at Crystal Palace, Ajax and Charlton in recent seasons.
But according to The Sun, Wenger rejected the latest offer of a temporary switch for the France Under-21 international.
They say the Frenchman insisted on keeping his compatriot in north London as an alternative attacking option to Olivier Giroud and new-boy Lucas Perez.
