Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Patrick Vieira is capable of taking the Manchester City job. The City development coach is being linked with Manuel Pellegrini's post.

"I believe like many other players he has the intelligence and the competence to do this job," Wenger said, when asked about Vieira.

"I believe Pellegrini is of super-competence and super-quality as well - so if you want me to interfere in that, I am not ready to do it."
