Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has recalled Manuel Almunia for tomorrow night's Champions League clash with AC Milan.

But the return of Almunia is a major blow to Jens Lehmann, 38, who was hoping a run in the Arsenal first team would help save his place as Germany's No.1 for Euro 2008. That hope now looks in danger.

Lehmann conceded four goals at Old Trafford but was absolved of much of the blame and said yesterday: "I hope to play against Milan."
