Arsenal boss Wenger attacks Chelsea over deadline day mega spending

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has attacked Chelsea's mega spending on transfer deadline day.

Wenger has accused the Blues of double standards after their deadline-day raids for Fernando Torres and David Luiz.

Wenger said: "Chelsea supported financial fair play. But in the morning they announce a £70m loss and in the afternoon buy £75m worth of players. Where's the logic in that?"

The Gunners boss fears his club will not be able to compete now Roman Abramovich is ready to splash the cash again.

Wenger added: "He's decided to put big money in and that tells you more will come in the summer."
