Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was pleased with Andrey Arshavin's performance in their rout of Wolves.

The 31-year-old put in a superb display, scoring one goal and claiming three assists against the League One side to remind everyone of his vast talent.

"At the moment the competition is very high [for a first-team place]," Wenger told Arsenal Player. "But he will get his chance, and he showed here that he deserves it."
