Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has expressed his admiration for Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra.
Bougherra has been linked with a host of clubs for a summer exit from Ibrox, but has maintained he only wants to move to one of the top six or seven sides in the English Premier League.
Now Wenger, who saw Philippe Senderos depart the Emirates for Fulham this week and has Sol Campbell out of contract, has said: "There are some good individuals in the Algeria team and I think they will get through the group with England.
"I know the youngster Ryad Boudebouz, who is a very good player. There is also Madjid Bougherra who plays at Rangers - I rate him too."
