Arsenal boss Wenger admits he may dump youth policy

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits top four failure could force him to rip up his youth policy.

The club are currently seventh in the Barclays Premier League – the lowest position they have occupied at this stage of the campaign since Wenger's arrival in 1996.

When asked whether he would consider abandoning his principle of bringing young players through and revert to spending big sums of money in the transfer market, the Arsenal boss said: "We'll make that analysis at the end of the season."
