Arsenal boss Unai Emery is ready to hand forgotten striker Lucas Perez a new chance.
The Mirror says following the appointment of Emery as head coach last month, it is likely to be a clean slate for the entire Arsenal squad and Perez's agency have issued a statement in regards to the forward's future at the Emirates Stadium.
“Lucas, on day 2, begins pre-season with Arsenal," Protio Sport said.
“There is interest from some teams, but he is a player of Arsenal and his desire is to succeed there."
On-loan at Deportivo La Coruna last season, the striker scored nine goals in 37 appearances.
