Arsenal boss Unai Emery has sent his congratulations to Steven N'Zonzi after France won the World Cup.
Arsenal had no representation in the final but that didn't prevent Emery from congratulating French players he had managed in the past.
At Paris Saint-Germain, Emery worked with Kylian Mbappe, Alphonse Areola, Presnel Kimpembe and Blaise Matuidi.
At Sevilla he managed Adil Rami and Nzonzi and Emery sent a tweet to the six players congratulating them on their success.
He wrote on Twitter: “Congratulations to the France team and [Didier] Deschamps.
“Happy for @KMbappe @AreolaOfficiel @kimpembe_3 @Rami13officiel @MATUIDIBlaise @iamnzonzi15.
“Congratulations for that brilliant @FIFAWorldCup!"
Last week, Emery was asked Arsenal's interest in the France international and insisted: “I know him but we haven't made a move for him."
