Arsenal boss Emery organised full-blown bounce game: Maitland-Niles, Ozil feature

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has had his players play a bounce game ahead of Monday's clash with Leicester City.

Emery's frustration at having been made to wait an extra two days to see his Arsenal team in action saw him arrange a training ground match on Thursday.

Emery called on the services of the Gunners' under-23s coach - and former midfield star - Freddie Ljungberg, who pitted his young side against the full might of senior's, with every available first-team squad member playing.

Football.London report that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang featured for 45 minutes of the match, while Mesut Ozil, Danny Welbeck and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are all set to be available after injury.

"The game against Leicester is very big and very difficult," continued Emery. "Leicester are a very good team and play with a clear identity under Claude Puel.

"They are very competitive, have very good players and we need every single player, and our mentality together to be stronger than in the last match."
