Arsenal boss Unai Emery has ruled out Emile Smith Rowe leaving on-loan in January.
Smith Rowe revealed a chat with Emery about his situation at the start of the season.
“We spoke about my development and the boss was clear that I remain at the club and not go out on loan," he told the Arsenal matchday programme.
"He said that I will have opportunities and that was music to my ears. I would love to play.
“It's a strange situation for me because I know I have to be patient as I'm very much on a learning curve, but having had a taste of first-team football, you want more."
